The shape and length of the stylus tip have been redesigned to achieve a significant weight reduction compared to previous models. The smaller diameter and shorter length result in a lighter effective mass, allowing for more accurate tracing of the record's sound.
A wide variety of styli to meet your sound quality needs: The styli combine a solid microlinear styli with a boron cantilever for superior wide-range reproduction. They excel at precise, realistic spatial expression. The large contact area between the styli and the grooves minimizes wear and ensures a long lifespan.
The body uses a paratoroidal coil structure: The AT-VMx series features a unique power generation system called a paratoroidal coil structure. The paratoroidal structure is a unitized, seamless core, so the magnetic flux is maintained within the specially wound coil. This results in improved power generation efficiency and excellent linearity.
Threaded cartridge mounting holes: Compatible with integrated tone arms, which are widely used in the global Hi-Fi audio market. The new threaded holes make it easier to mount cartridges on integrated arms.
