Guitarist Park Aoi Hee has won numerous awards at international competitions, including first place at the Alhambra International Guitar Competition, and is expected to continue to flourish as a top runner in the guitar world. The long-awaited new work is a collection of guitar works focusing on Brazilian composers from South America, a classical guitar mecca along with Europe. In addition to works by classical composers such as Villa-Lobos, it also includes works by Gismonti, a Brazilian treasure, and Antonio Carlos Jobim, the god of bossa nova whose death is celebrating 20 years this year. A group of works full of seven colors of emotion from Brazil, tinged with nostalgic saudade as well as passionate rhythms and melodies, will be sublimated by Park Aoi Hee's unparalleled guitar performance.

[profile] Born in Incheon, South Korea in 1985. He started playing the guitar in Yokohama at the age of 3, and won prizes in numerous guitar competitions from an early age. Entered Tokyo College of Music in 2004, and participated in an opera performance conducted by Seiji Ozawa in 2005. From September 2006, studied abroad at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria. So far, he has studied under Kiyoshi Shomura, Shinichi Fukuda, and Alvaro Pielli. 2005 Korean Guitar Music Competition Winner, 2007 Germany Heinzberg International Guitar Competition 1st Place and Audience Award 1st place in Belgium “Guitar Spring 2008” competition in 2008 (first Asian and woman in the history of the competition) 2nd place at Koblenz International Guitar Competition, Germany (No one qualified for 1st place) 1st place at Liechtenstein International Guitar Competition 2009 Italy Alessandria International Guitar Competition 2nd place and special award (Young Artist Award) Spain Luis Milan International Guitar Competition 1st place 1st place in 2010 Barrios International Guitar Competition 2012 Alhambra International Guitar Competition 1st Prize and Audience Award He continues to win and receive awards at major guitar competitions. Made his US debut at Carnegie Hall (Weill Hall) in 2012. His recitals have been broadcast on NHK's "Classic Club" (BS Premium) and FM, and he is attracting attention and expectations as a rising star who will lead the next generation of the guitar world. Currently, he is actively performing in Europe, Japan, Korea, and other countries, and his beautiful tremolo playing technique is highly praised in various places. His recordings include ``Sueno ~ Yume'' in 2010, ``Sonata Noir'' in 2012 (both from Fontec), ``Journey to Spain'' in 2012, and ``Last Tremolo'' (Nippon Columbia) in 2013. Both became unprecedented hits in the classical guitar world, and are included in the Record Geijutsu Special Selection Edition.
