Chlorella is a microscopic, single-celled freshwater algae that is a powerful superfood that helps nourish the body. Our chlorella is grown outdoors in freshwater and natural sunlight. Its deep emerald color is due to its high chlorophyll content. After harvest, the chlorella is gently dried and then the cell walls are broken using a chemical-free press-and-release technique. This allows the superfood to be optimally absorbed. The chlorella powder is made into convenient tablets with intact cell walls. Chlorella tablets are an excellent source of vitamin D to support immunity.
