This ring is used to mount a lens in reverse onto a body, either via a bellows attachment or directly.
For close-up photography at life-size or greater, using the lens in reverse will provide better performance.
Use the BR-2A for lenses with an attachment size of 52mm, and the BR-5 (used in conjunction with the BR-2A) for lenses with an attachment size of 62mm.
