This is a 1/700 scale plastic assembly kit of the US Navy's Boxer LPH-4 amphibious assault ship, which operated from 1945 to 1969.
It recreates the ship's appearance after it became the LPH-4 amphibious assault ship.
The model is a full hull model that reproduces even the bottom of the ship.
The hull is divided into bottom, hull, and deck parts to accurately model its shape.
The finished shape is reproduced with a total length of approximately 380mm and a width of approximately 64mm.
It can also be assembled as an offshore version.
The flight deck is reproduced in great detail, including structures such as the bridge.
The radar is provided with etched parts to create a delicate finish.
Eight UH-34J Seahorse helicopters are included for use on the deck.
The interior of the well dock at the rear of the hull is also reproduced, allowing you to see its structure.
