[Unit Description]
Armor Type: Knight
This was a development project for a new type of armor based on the Pawn A1, further specializing in mounted combat. The overall concept was to enhance the combat capabilities of the third-generation Hexa Gear by treating the Governor as a component that more directly participates in combat.
Nearly all of the top requirements were geared toward mounted combat using the third-generation Hexa Gear's open cockpit, dramatically improving the survivability of Governors constantly exposed to artillery fire.
The heavy armoring of the main body was concentrated in critical areas of the torso. The limbs remained largely unchanged in order to ensure mobility while piloting a Hexa Gear, with only the armor on protruding areas like the knees being modified.
However, the "artificial muscles" woven throughout the inner suit demonstrated significant improvements in power assist performance. This was achieved in exchange for increased power output, in exchange for excessive consumption of energy supplied by the Hexa G-R-A-L-A-R-A-G-L, shortening operational time. This was the result of aiming to improve combat capabilities using heavy weaponry that the Pawn A1 could not equip.
This system is conceptually similar to the "resonant excitation" of the Rayblade Impulse, and was carried over into subsequent research on the Ex-Armor type by Hakusho Riken.
Another major change from the Pawn A1 is the addition of a mount arm. This device, which serves as both an expansion platform and power assist, comes standard with one unit, and its unit structure allows for flexible operation through its ability to be divided and replaced. Naturally, it is also compatible with other armor types, and can be used in conjunction with the KARMA control system to mount various equipment, including heavy weaponry that would normally be mounted on a vehicle, such as shields and charge cannons.
Initially known as the Pawn A2, many of these armor-enhancing components were integrated under the name "Knight," and the Liberty Alliance began mass-producing "Armor Type: Knight" and shipped them to various locations. After defeating a formidable enemy in their new armor, Governors would fiercely raise their swords.

The shield uses clear molded parts in some areas for a realistic texture. The grip parts on the inside of the shield are movable, allowing for a wide range of posing options. You can also combine it with a mount arm using the 3mm diameter holes and axes for more creative enjoyment.
The shield's protective surface can be narrowed by replacing the armor parts.
Mount arms can be attached to the 3mm diameter holes on the back backpack and abdomen.
