Product Introduction
Das Werk "1/32 scale Luftwaffe Ju EF-126 Eli / EF-127 Wally 3-in-1" plastic model kit.
In 1944, the German Air Ministry presented the "Emergency Fighter Plan" to aircraft manufacturers.
The plan called for the development and production of a fighter aircraft with a simple structure that would be easily manufactured while minimizing the use of strategic materials.
In response, Junkers submitted a design for the EF-126 (codenamed Eli), featuring an Argus pulsejet engine mounted on the top rear of the fuselage and four auxiliary rocket boosters on the sides of the rear fuselage, a metal fuselage, and wooden wings.
The EF-126 was planned in both single-engine and dual-engine models.
However, Junkers believed that the pulsejet engine was insufficient, so they also designed the EF-127 (codenamed Wally), based on the EF-126, but with a Walther rocket engine mounted in the rear of the fuselage instead.
This kit allows you to assemble one of three versions: the EF-126 with one pulse jet engine, the EF-127 with two, or the EF-126 with two.
The cockpit is precisely recreated, and the takeoff skids can be deployed for landing or retracted for flight.
A takeoff trolley and a workbench for mounting the fuselage during factory production are included.
Seven marking options are included.
