Each bag is custom crafted by experienced goat leather craftsmen. The bag gets better and better over time as the leather softens and deepens in color. The tone of each bag can vary depending on the low and high temperatures in the heart of the Thar Desert. The leather does not undergo chemical treatment. A special vegetable oil is applied to the bags to add more shade to the dominant brown (light and dark) color of the bag and also make it more resistant to water.
