Based on the PE-01J, this special limited edition phono equalizer for MM cartridges achieves improved sound quality through customization of key internal components with high-quality components.

In addition to maintaining the same meticulous attention to detail as the PE-01J, including the use of high-precision MELF resistors and laminated metallized polyester film capacitors, as well as a two-stage amplifier circuit, the NFJ-original DIP-compatible TI OPA1612 is used as a dual-circuit op amp, while the OPA627 is mounted on a newly designed single DIP-compatible board specifically for this limited edition model.

In addition, the circuit uses Toshin Kogyo's UPZ series audio film capacitors, and several other capacitor selections have been modified for balance adjustment.

This product is a phono equalizer preamp designed specifically for MM cartridges, converting the record player's phono output to a line output, enabling connection to devices that do not support phono inputs.

By connecting this amplifier between an amplifier without a phono equalizer and a record player without a phono equalizer, you can enjoy records in environments that do not support phono inputs.
