The Hokuriku Railway Group is the largest operator in the Hokuriku region, with a route network covering all of Ishikawa Prefecture.
Founded in 1943 through the merger of Ishikawa Prefecture's railway and bus companies, the group will celebrate its 80th anniversary in October 2023.
This collection features four buses, including three currently in operation in reproductions of historic body colors from Hokuriku Railway's 80-year history, and one in its current livery.
The four buses are available in the "red bus" livery that was used on express routes, scheduled sightseeing buses, and chartered buses until the 1970s; the "blue bus livery" used on regular routes during the same period; the "red stripe livery" that was adopted on regular routes from 1969 and is still used on express buses today; and the current livery that was introduced in 2000 and is still used on regular routes today.
