The Nagano Electric Railway 3500 series debuted in 1993. It was a modified version of the original 3000 series trains from the Teito Rapid Transit Authority (now Tokyo Metro) Hibiya Line.
The 3500 series consisted of two cars, and at its peak, there were 14 of them in service, including cars with one-man operation.
Of these, the N8 series was the last remaining 3500 and 3600 series train, and sadly ceased operation on January 19, 2023, with a special chartered event train.
This product recreates the N8 series as it looked just before its retirement.
By using a separately sold power unit and N gauge running parts, it can be operated as an N gauge model train.
The TM-06R power unit and TT-04R running parts are recommended.
Display tracks are not included.
This model train is powered by the rails. No batteries are required for running, lighting, or illumination.
