I ordered the bag to protect my laptop but this was totally unnecessary. The case is super flimsy and will not protect the laptop at all. It absorbs water, so watch out if it rains! If your protection then I wouldn't recommend it, I'd rather pay a little more and get something decent. It would be suitable as a normal laptop bag, which is only supposed to protect against scratches or something
