The Ne005 train set, located at the Kamakura Rolling Stock Center, is now available as a product. The new silver-based lead car design, including the distinctive "E259 SERIES" logo, is beautifully reproduced. Signal flares, train telephone antenna, and protective radio antenna are reproduced with separate parts. The headlights feature white HID lamps at the top and warm white shield beams in the middle, matching the actual train. Additionally, red taillights illuminate at the bottom (with a switch to turn them off). Uses a slotless motor (when coupled with previous models, running may be unstable due to differences in motor characteristics). The intermediate coupling section is equipped with a body-mounted KATO close-coupling type coupler (with hook) as standard. Represents the inter-car damper. The driver's cab side of the leading car is equipped with a KATO close-coupled coupler (without hook) and includes an electric coupler. Also included is a front door (opening) part that allows for two trains to be coupled together. The side destination signs are black with the included destination sign stickers attached. The basic set is an affordable best selection specification, perfect for those new to N gauge. The add-on set (3 cars) comes with a 6-car bookcase that can store the contents of the basic set (3 cars) with the through door attached.
