"Assassin's Creed," an infiltration action game set in and around Jerusalem at the end of the 12th century, is now available on PS3! Players take on the role of the assassin "Altair" as he uncovers a vast conspiracy that threatens the destruction of the Holy City. The mission begins with infiltration into the city. As an assassin, Altair struggles to stand out, but he must blend in with the citizens and theologians to complete his mission. There are various ways to gather information, including pickpocketing, interrogation, and cooperating with informants. Gathering as much information as possible within the city will help him approach his target. Of course, Altair's abilities extend beyond stealth. He's also adept at flashy maneuvers, such as climbing walls and fences, sprinting, and plummeting from high places. However, caution is required, as enemies will attack if they notice such conspicuous actions. While engaging in combat is an option, you can also deceive them by blending in with the people and objects in the city. This is called "social stealth," and it's one of the game's key systems.
