Choseido's completely original tiered Hina doll. The decorative stand has a ``flowing water cherry'' pattern designed by Choseido. Flowing water cherry blossoms are one of the traditional Japanese auspicious patterns that are said to bring good luck, and have the meaning of ``the beginning of things never ending = a continuation of auspicious things.'' All the dolls and accessories are made of crepe fabric. This is a fluffy and gentle decoration made by Ryukodo, a long-established chirimen workshop in Kyoto. The Hina dolls are compact in size, so they don't take up much space, and they have a design that fits both Western and Japanese rooms. A decorative stand with a cherry blossom motif that colors spring and cute dolls will brighten up the celebration of the first sunny festival. At our store, all of the wooden tags with names attached to Hina dolls are hand-written.
