The problem is the protruding pieces of plastic - there is a risk of injury (so before giving the child to play, carefully look at all the elements of the set, and cut off the burrs or smelt them with a lighter). All elements are made entirely of plastic - they are light and quite durable. The blades of the knives are deceptively metal. I didn't notice the paint peeling off them. The pots are well balanced - they do not tip over, and the lids fit like a glove (you just need to find and choose the right pairs, because they are packed loose in the package). Handle of the pots broken off so a child cannot play with it... risk of injury.... no exchange option and only half the purchase price will be refunded... second possibility to attribute these defective goods would be to assume the shipping costs to China.... unbelievable
