the key for 407 or other model is a scam the printed circuit goes into the box but it is impossible to change the key the interior system is different and does not adapt with the old key moreover Peugeot categorically refuses to make a new key with what is sent to you the reason invoked "it does not engage their responsibility for a non-compliant product" DO NOT BUY THIS TYPE OF PRODUCT ....................... .........JOOM DOES NOT REFUND YOU
Problem with 1 of the 2 ordered, waiting for customer service otherwise matches the description. Be careful if you want to put back your original key inserts, there is a bit of detailed work, but it can be done, with patience.... no need to dismantle everything! There is just a small pin to remove to replace the original insert. For the circuit, nothing could be simpler, it's like changing the battery......
The outside of the key is well made. Inside, however, the technology of the original key does not fit - therefore useless for me. Unfortunately !
Once you understand how to change it is very simple. What costs a little more is to change the key. but the quality is good
